Accommodation

A historic period home just feels different from a modern house , soak in the atmosphere of the turn of the century. Comfy beds and top quality linens are provided.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible utensil and 4 sets of dishes. No need to bring anything except maybe your own pool towels.

The four bedrooms are furnished as follows:
bedroom 1 queen four poster and a single
bedroom 2 queen and a single
bedroom 3 queen
bedroom 4 2 singles and a futon chair bed

The large heated pool is one of the main feature of the property. It is 18 ft x 36 ft. about 3 ft at the shallow end and 8-10 ft at the deep end. The temperature in the Summer can reach 30-31 degrees if the solar blanket is left on when not in use. We heat the pool to a temp of 27-28 degrees if needed in the Summer only, it would not be economical to heat it when the temp outside drops below 60 degrees. It is a liner pool and prone to tears if any sharp objects are used in it, please do not allow children to bring any sharp toys into the pool. There are detailed instructions for the pool in the house. Someone will be coming either daily or every other day to clean,check the chemicals and water level. The area around the pool has a honeysuckle hedge which gives off a
lovely fragrance. There are also several flowers and lots of chairs, 2 dining tables and a gas grill. The pool and area are for use of our guests only, the town does not
allow any type of parties or functions.
